Vinay Gutti, M.D.

Dr. Vinay Gutti is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist as well as an specialist in Cataract, Corneal, and Refractive Surgery at La Mirada eye & Laser Center.

Dr. Gutti Graduated with Honors from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, he earned his medical degree at Penn State University College of Medicine in 2004. He completed a Preliminary Year internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and went on to do his residency training in ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed a fellowship in Cornea External Disease, and Refractive surgery with the world renowned eye surgeon Dr. Roger Steinert at UC-Irvine Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gutti's clinical interest focuses on contract surgery and premium lens implantation, including the Crystalens HD ®, Alcon Toric IOL ®, the ReSTOR IOL ®, and the Tecnis multifocal IOL ®. He is the director of Lasik Surgery at La Mirada eye and Laser Center. He also performs advanced corneal transplantation techniques, specifically DSEK and Intralase-Enabled Keratoplasty. Dr. Gutti has published his research in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has authored chapters in highly respected ophthalmic textbooks. He has traveled nationally to present his research at academic meetings.
